Also, college provides a great platform to get involved and even coordinate events on a smaller scale. A great way to do this is to join a sorority or fraternity and hold an office. The social chair will learn the basics of planning parties while an alumni chair will coordinate events with schedules schedules and book accommodations for out of town visitors while the president or vice president will most likely handle yearly philanthropy efforts and oversee many moving parts towards calculated ends. If the Greek scene just isn’t for you, there are plenty of other organizations on campus that hold events throughout the year, not to mention campus wide volunteer and charity efforts most likely looking for student help.
