The ever evolving technological sophistication of today’s world continues to make even established methods of conduct obsolete. Though traditional exhibition venues will always have their place, online expo hosting offers an entirely new experience for event hosts and attendees. While the experience may be limited less personal interaction, online expos offer a variety of benefits their brick and mortar counterparts would be hard pressed to match.Unlimited Number of Attendees Unless of course you choose to cap your capacity at a certain number of registrants. As there are no walls or safety codes to restrict sheer size, an online event can house as many guests as the organizer would like. If there is a registration fee this can also boost revenue.Lower Cost Online expos are cheaper alternatives for all parties involved. On the host side, there is no need to rent a space, provide food or worry about any on-site logistics (i.e. signage, transportation, etc.). 2. Size second While it is important to make sure you are within reasonable driving distance either of the majority of your constituency or a major airport, selecting the proper size of your venue can make or break the overall experience. Too much space, though it will allow room to spread out, may prove embarrassing if you are trying to promote awareness as it will appear not enough people cared to attend. On the other hand, cramming an overcapacity group into a smaller space can lead to lower retention rates and shows a lack of foresight. Read the rest of this entry »
